DOE: Restorative Justice Conferencing

Audience: District- and School-level Leaders

Restorative practices have been proven effective in reducing misbehavior, bullying, violence, and crime among students while improving the overall climate for learning.
The department has collaborated with STARS Nashville to provide a Restorative Justice Conferencing training on July 15 in Nashville. This training is FREE and recommended for district and school level administrators responsible for school discipline policies and practices. Introduction to Restorative Practices and Using Circles Effectively are required prerequisites to participate in this training.
