From the Desk of the TOSS President

Mr. Randy Frazier, Board President

It was my great honor in September to begin a term as President of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents (TOSS). Since first joining the TOSS Board of Directors in 2012, I have been impressed with the professional work of the staff and superintendents of our state.  It is truly a pleasure to represent them in my new role as president of the organization.

It is a very exciting time to be in a leadership role with TOSS.  Ideas imagined only a short few years ago have gained momentum, and there has been growth in every area of the organization:  membership, the Associate Leadership Institute, the Superintendent Leadership Institute, legislative impact, staff and most importantly the benefits to members.

Henry Ford once said, “coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success.” I look forward to working with each and every member of the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents as we do the important work of providing leadership to the education community of our state, for our children.

Regards,

Dr. Bill Heath - TOSS President

Director of Lincoln County Schools
