Leading With TVAAS 2018 - West

  • Arlington Community Schools 12060 Arlington Trail Arlington, TN, 38002 United States (map)

This training is planned to help all building leaders be better prepared to fully utilize the TVAAS scores you will get from TNReady exams.

Although TVAAS training always has some 'repeated' information in any program we offer, the basic foundation of this day of professional learning is new.

It will be wonderfully timed for any new leader, and leader who uses TVAAS data to help teachers grow their students over time, and it it especially good to help school leaders have meaningful conversations as they conduct teacher evaluations next year.  Do not think of this as a 'repeat' of past events, but as a new look at new date through the TVAAS lens.

SAS and TOSS have often worked together to provide dynamic TVAAS training across Tennessee for both beginner and advanced TVAAS users.  As districts continue to increase data-driven decision making, SAS and TOSS ALI want to offer additional opportunities to help school leaders explore their TVAAS data and how it can inform their school improvement efforts.  In this course, school and district leaders will discover how they use TVAAS reports to inform leadership decisions.

This hands-on simulation course engages administrators and school administrative teams with data analysis and interpretation, teacher and student placement, professional development planning, scheduling, and school improvement.  This event will allow your leaders to use their most recent TVAAS data to make decisions to help their school grow over time.

Principals, Assistant Principals, and other school leaders will benefit from this intense and informative session.  The time will be spent analysing, assessing, and discussing their own district/school data in small working groups.

Key Audience: District and School Administrators (most appropriate for Principals and Assistant Principals)

The session will go from 8:00-4:00 with breaks and lunch provided.

IMPORTANT:  You will need to bring a computer with internet access and your TVAAS account credentials!
