You will find mention of mentoring teachers and leaders in almost every book and policy manual, but little information on how to establish an effective mentorship program. This event will offer the attendee a look at some mentoring programs around the state for both teachers and leaders. We will hear about three different programs from 8:30-10:00 am central time, then we will work together in small groups to create a mentorship program outline for both teachers and leaders in your system from 10:15 until 12:30 pm. The training will focus on the development of an induction program and mentoring program for both new teachers and leaders and seasoned teachers and leaders.  This is a ‘hands-on’ opportunity to learn together and share ideas.
