Embedded work force training, work force partnerships, and innovative programming in K-12 - February 1, 2024 (8:30AM-12:30PM CST)

This day finishes out our 'World of Work' series with a look at embedded work force training, work force partnerships, and innovative programming. The event is planned for February 1, 2024. Presenters include Mark Gregory, CTE Supervisor from Robertson County, Holly Whitehead, CTE Assistant Principal at Heritage High School, and Lisa Collins, CTE Assistant Principal from William Blount High School, and Arlette Robinson, CTE, Work Based Learning, and Industry Certification Director from Bradley County Schools. Mark will share both workforce readiness and education/community partnership work, while Holly and Lisa present Blount County’s high school opportunities in CTE, industry credentialing, and work-based learning. Arlette will discuss the importance of embedding workforce awareness and practices in all grades They bring us the ‘school leader’ perspective on post-secondary opportunities.
