TOSS, in collaboration with TDOE and the State Board, is offering three sessions for superintendents or their designees on the local review process of charter school applications.

You will:

•  Receive an overview of the entire review process
•  Be led through a deep dive into application review
•  See sample applications
•  Hear from LEA representatives who have conducted reviews
•  Meet state staff  most directly involved, Marcy Tidwell (TDOE) and Tess Stovall (SBE)

Sessions will be held:

• November 9, 9:00-11:00, Jackson-Madison County Board of Education, Board Room
• November 10, 9:00-11:00 Murfreesboro City Board of Education
• November 19 , 9:00-11:00 Knoxville, Sara Simpson Center Room 219
