TVAAS Clinic (East)

TOSS, in partnership with SAS Institute, is pleased to offer to educators and teams from districts and schools an in-depth TVAAS training session, which includes both “TVAAS Clinic for Beginners” and “Advanced TVAAS Clinic.” These two clinics will be held simultaneously from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. to allow team members to attend the clinic most suited to their particular level of TVAAS knowledge and expertise. They will be led by SAS staff, Jennifer Facciolini and Jenn Persson.  From 12:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., both clinics will come together and will be led through data analysis of district, school and/or individual data. 

 

The full-day TVAAS training sessions will be held on:

·        Wed, February 11 at the Murfreesboro City Board of Education

·        Thurs, February 12 at Union University in Jackson

·        Wed, February 18 at the Sara Simpson Center in Knoxville

 

Arrival time is 8:00 a.m. Morning coffee and lunch will be provided. One free seat per district is available. Registration for others is $50.

 

AM Session (Option 1 - TVAAS Clinic for Beginners)

The learning outcomes are:

·        To gain an understanding of TVAAS

·        To learn to use both predictive and diagnostic data to improve student outcomes

 

AM Session (Option 2 - Advanced TVAAS Clinic)

The learning outcomes are:

·        To gain a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of TVAAS

·        To understand more technical aspects of TVAAS

 

PM Session (Whole Group)

The learning outcomes are:

·        To engage in dialogue with your team around your data

·        To discuss ways to use TVAAS data to drive school improvement
