This college and career readiness focused event is designed for Superintendents, Curriculum Leaders and Assessment Leaders. Participation by leadership teams is highly encouraged.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to engage with regional and national College Board staff to dialogue about current/future practices, education policy as well as issues and practices with researched solutions to support you in your work in Tennessee. You will also have an opportunity to engage with personnel from Tennessee Higher Education institutions and gain important perspectives on the admissions process and how it affects Tennessee students.

 

Overarching topics during this event will include, but are not limited to:

  • AP® landscape in Tennessee
  • Redesigned SAT suite of assessments
  • Tennessee Higher Education panel discussion on college admissions
  • College and Career Readiness tools such as AP Insight, Pre-AP and SpringBoard ELA/Math

The entire day is devoted to an open and meaningful conversation on providing access to opportunities for all Tennessee students. By engaging in this conversation, the College Board seeks to gain your insight on how we can remove barriers to college and career success.
