Commissioner McQueen and TDOE Leadership will share updates and get superintendent feedback on key areas. In particular, they will share updates as the state moves toward ESSA implementation and solicit your input on specific pieces of the district and school accountability models, such as on the Chronically Out of School and Ready Graduate indicators as well as the work to expand access to early postsecondary opportunities (EPSOs) more broadly. They will also talk more broadly about Focus schools and how the department is proposing to identify and support those schools.
