Creating Higher-Performance Districts to Meet the Challenges of Tomorrow - Why We Need To & How It’s Done

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn from one of the country’s leading research and education leadership organizations and TOSS Platinum Partner—The National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE)—how we can redesign our districts as systems for higher performance to meet the needs of the 21st century. This session is designed to equip district leaders with a framework for re-envisioning their districts, and to start them on a path to becoming architects of a cohesive system that is equitable, efficient and effective.

Jason Dougal, Executive Vice President of NCEE, will lead an interactive discussion that will:

  • Explore the research on how our students are performing and the implications for their and our country’s future

  • Look into the global economic and technological forces that are transforming the world our students will compete in, and are raising the bar for college and workforce readiness

  • Consider recent U.S. education reforms and their impact

  • Study international benchmarking to compare the world’s top performers and uncover the common elements that have made them successful

  • Allow you to look at your own district and role through a completely different lens

***Participating superintendents will become candidates for a future international benchmarking trip to Finland that will be led by NCEE in partnership with TOSS.

Superintendents are encouraged to bring a senior member of their leadership team. This is a one-time event, and will be offered only in Murfreesboro this December.

Don’t miss this great opportunity!
