School safety is the number one concern of many parents, teachers, and staff members. 

Wanda Shelton (TOSS) and Karen Jensen (Response to Instruction and Intervention Mental Health with the TDOE) will lead this day’s discussion on the history of school violence, and the changes that can take place in a system or school when school safety and security means ‘building strong relationships’.

They will also discuss ACES, Trauma Informed Leadership, Crisis Teams, and School Culture.
