Each year, spring brings warmer weather and lovely flowers, but if you are a superintendent, a principal, or other school leader, it also brings you sleepless nights as you plan for the high school programming in the coming year. Some questions that come to your mind may be:
What is the best schedule for students, for teachers, for the community?
How do you fund the positions you MUST have and balance your budget?
How do you decide to 'give up' on a CTE program, an AP program and just as important, how do you decide to add a new program?
When is enough really enough?
Join us as the leadership team from Johnson, Wilson, and Tipton County Schools share their work in these areas. In order to 'own' high school scheduling one must understand registration, the budget process, community relations, and staffing. It is a necessary and powerful discussion and we HOPE all school and system leaders will plan to be with us on April 15, 2021 from 9-12 CENTRAL time as we begin to tackle this work together.
As you all know, it is better when we learn together, so be sure you join us with a device that has a camera...this one is INTERACTIVE!
