Work Readiness: WorkKeys, Industry Certifications, and PIE Programming - January 25, 2024 (8:30AM-12:30PM CST)

The next 'World of Work' event will be held on January 25, 2024, and will be focused on Work Readiness: WorkKeys, Industry Certifications, and PIE Programming. This event will feature Brittany Cannon and Arlette Robinson from Bradley County, Jessie Kinsey from Tullahoma City, and Leslie Eldridge from Cumberland County Schools. Brittany Cannon is the Director of the PIE Center, and Arlette Robinson is the CTE Director in Bradley County Schools and they will share with you their work with the development of WorkKeys, CTE Programming, and PIE. Jessie Kinsey from Tullahoma City Schools currently serves as the system’s CTE Director. She will share the work that their system has done to develop and advance programming in Aviation, Broadcast Media, and STEM in grades 6-12. She will discuss grants and how the ‘application process’ has helped support programs over time in her system. Finishing this day for us will be Leslie Eldridge, the Cumberland County CTE Supervisor. Leslie will present on their system’s career framework and community partnerships.
