Commissioner Briefing and TOSS Legislative Update

Commissioner Penny Schwinn and her cabinet will meet with the superintendents in your area from 10:00-12:00 regarding the Tennessee Department of Education strategic plan. Lunch will follow. From 1:00-3:30 the TOSS Government Relations Team will host in-depth discussions of the 2019 legislative session.  During these meetings we will do a deep dive into the legislation that passed this year, how it will impact you and your district, and what we are anticipating as we enter the second session of the 111th General Assembly in 2020.
