ACT: What Can We Do to Improve our Students’ ACT Performance?

Blackman High School

October 5, 2016

8:00-4:00 pm

TASL CREDIT WILL BE REQUESTED

Principals in Tennessee school systems receive interesting reports on their students’ ACT performance, but these reports come with little or no specific instructions on how to improve the student data. This TOSS/ALI professional learning day will feature “share and learn” presentations from three Middle Tennessee schools. This event is being planned in Middle Tennessee for all  Tennessee School and System leaders.  There are three goals for our learning on October 5, 2016. 1.What does The ACT measure and what can we expect on the spring assessment?; 2.          How have systems in Tennessee created a culture of success on the ACT?, and 3. What are schools strategically planning and doing to improve  their student’s ACT success ?

Please join us for sharing, reporting, learning, and planning with your fellow principals, vice-principals, leadership teams, central office staff for a great day as we strive to reach our ACT 21 goals!
