Making Schools Safe: Physical Plant, School Culture, and Community Support Systems - August 24th, 2021 (8:30AM-12:30PM CST)

Making Schools Safe: Physical Plant, School Culture, and Community Support Systems

If you have ever worried about your school, your team, your staff, or your students, then this is the event for you. We will hear some stories from Dr. Wanda Shelton and others about school safety concerns, then we will work together in small groups to design plans that help keep you and your students safer in 2021.  The event will feature discussions around Maslow before Blume, Trauma Informed Schools, and how we can best communicate and inform our school staffs as we create a positive learning environment.

Sign up if you are an ALI member in any role, and feel free to invite counselors, social workers, or other supporting staff to come to your office and work with you.

*This event requires a camera and a microphone: It will be engaged learning*

**Each ALI member will receive a certificate for 4 hours of TASL credit (pending approval) after the event is completed.**
