Assistant Principal’s Networking and Cohort Development 2022: Leading Learning, Assessment, and Data Points - November 3, 2022 (8:30AM-12:30PM CST)

Our Networking Cohort Events for Assistant Principals will continue with  this 4-hour training and will feature fully vetted, superintendent nominated leaders who are currently 'doing the work' of an Assistant Principal or who work closely with school leaders. We will also spotlight TOSS Platinum Partner, Imagine Learning. Presenters will focus on the use of assessment, data and data points, the role of the AP in assessment, behavioral interventions and how to see yourself as a team member and team builder. This event will help all leaders stay focused on using assessment, data points, and interventions  to lead growth in student learning over time.

On November 3, 2022 you will hear from featured presenters Larissa Westerfield, Kelly Harrell, and Jessica Alberson.  Larissa will present first and will cover TVAAS, Screeners, and Grading.  Kelly will then discuss Data Practice with Benchmark Assessments, and Jessica will cover Behavioral Interventions. Each presenter will clearly align their presentations to introduce the use of various data points and assessments across grade levels, to discuss how one creates a collaborative environment around those data points, and how your role as AP makes your work with data vital to your school’s long-term goals. Adding the presentation that Jessica has planned around behavioral interventions will allow each attendee to leave this cohort meeting with an entire backpack full of new ideas to share.

There will be time for cohort interaction and cohort discussions around these topics. The presentations will begin promptly at 8:30 with opening comments from Wanda Shelton around 8:15 central time.
