This is a two-day event with learning building over time. Those who attend both days will receive 8 hours of TASL credit.
When leaders are told that their students are suffering from ‘learning loss’ and that it can take years to rebound to prior learning levels, teachers and leaders are often left with a feeling of hopelessness. They don’t ‘feel’ that their student lost learning, but they did lose time in the classroom. This event is planned and presented to help leaders create a vision for a ‘Full Court Press Towards Relevancy, Readiness, and Resetting’. The keynote presenter, Dr. Lenny Howard coming to us from TOSS Gold Partner, NS4ed, will lead you though how career exploration, career clusters, technology, subject specific knowledge, practice-driven approaches, project-based learning, and work-based learning can support learning in your schools and systems. When you leave this two-day adventure, you will be ready to address ‘resetting’ from learning loss as you address social and emotional learning and as you build you own agenda in your school.
